"During recruitment when I was incredibly nervous, I worried about how I would be perceived by others. AOII was the first house I visited, and I immediately fell in love. All my worries disappeared when I entered the house. I felt like I could still be authentically me no matter what I wore or how I looked when talking to the these women.
I've gained so many valuable friendships and feel supported by this sisterhood that I know has my back no matter what."

"My freshman year was a struggle both socially and academically. I decided to start hanging around the house more and I met a group of girls who welcomed me and let me study with them. We had so much fun and a few of us even pulled an all-nighter and just stayed up talking. Study nights at the house became a weekly tradition for us.
These girls have given me a place to call home and a friendship that I never knew was possible."

"I knew absolutely nothing about greek life when I went through recruitment and I am the first to go greek in my family. I went AOII based on how the women I spoke to inspired me and made me feel during just a few conversations. They told me they could see me being a leader in AOII, and that seemed so crazy to me at the time because of my quiet personality.
Once I became an AOII, my sisters pushed me and inspired me to take a leap. I am now the VP of Membership Recruitment, and I could not have any more pride in this organization and the relationships it has built for me."
